Jarrod & Crystal W.

In 1997, at the age of 17, Jarrod enlisted in the Army. He served until 2007. Jarrod was assigned to logistics and security. He was stationed at different times in Germany and Hawaii, and navigated deployments to Kuwait, Afghanistan, and Iraq.

After leaving the Army, Jarrod made a living as a communications tower pole climber and, later, drove for a ride-share service. During those years, his physical and mental health began to deteriorate, and he sought support through the VA. The VA increased his benefits and he is currently not working.

Jarrod and Crystal bought their home in 2021. Jarrod learned about Reinforcements Inc through the Maryland Department of Veteran and Military Families. We are still restoring Jarrod’s home, but have completed several projects, including new gutters and downspouts and roof repairs. Thanks to Ruff Roofers for their expert work on these repairs.
